I have over 30 years’ experience in social work, working with families in dispute resolution through the Family Court. My background includes working with at-risk youth, in child protection investigations, in mediating and counselling for families, and with assessments of children and families for the Family Court. (For my full resumé, click here).
My goal at all times is to define what is in the best interests of the children and the most appropriate ways to structure arrangements to ensure their interests are served.
I recognise that separated families may be subject to a wide range of issues of concern and that decisions over the arrangements for your children can be difficult and stressful. I understand that as a parent, you will have particular concerns or anxieties about your children’s welfare, which may include their general care, health, behaviour, education, socialisation, living environment and other worries. My objective is to listen to your concerns, to listen to your children’s views, and to establish a considered and appropriate recommendation for future arrangements.
